Community Engagement

Activating communities through large-scale public festivals, strategic funding opportunities, leadership development, and student pathways that strengthen the entire arts ecosystem.

From youth music festivals and regional RFPs to capacity-building workshops and national scholarship opportunities, we create powerful entry points for students, educators, organizations, and community leaders to engage, collaborate, and grow together.

Arts Access Miami releases Requests for Proposals to identify nonprofit partners that can help expand access to high quality arts education across Miami Dade County. These opportunities invite organizations to bring their programs into public schools and collaborate within a larger community based arts education system. The RFP process evaluates program quality, organizational capacity, and readiness to serve students at scale. Selected partners join a growing network of organizations working together to ensure every child has access to the arts.

Arts Access Miami events are moments that bring the full community together around a shared commitment to arts education—uniting students, families, educators, nonprofit partners, civic leaders, and supporters. They serve as opportunities to celebrate progress, elevate the voices and experiences of young people, and strengthen the sense of connection across the communities we serve. Through these gatherings, Arts Access creates space to recognize collective impact, build relationships, and reinforce the importance of ensuring every student has access to meaningful arts experiences.

The Arts & Youth Leadership Series is a citywide initiative designed to meet a growing need for stronger coalitions, better data, and greater alignment across Miami’s arts and youth ecosystem. Each session brings together nonprofit leaders, board members, funders, and public partners in a three-part format: practical teaching, a fireside conversation with real-world insight, and a closing keynote that connects the work to a broader vision. Built with leading institutions and philanthropic partners, this series invests in the long-term strength and coordination of the entire field.
